Good news is that we swept the 1st place team again!!  Turned out the 2nd place team from a week ago got bumped up to a tie to the team we beat.  So it's not every often you can say ya swept the #1 teams twice in consecutive weeks.

 As for my bowling..  it was okay.  I shot a 225 for the first game.  Then I got lost and hit 166 the 2nd game.  Third game I opened up with a strike and 3 opens.  Then I found a small groove and hit a 181 for a 572 series. 

I'll take that!

 Today we get to play against the 2nd place team in our league.  It should be interesting since we swept the 1st place team last week with one of out bowlers being off his game.  I'm looking forward to today since I've been messing around with my Lane 1 Tsunami and been throwing very well with it as of late.  I had about an ounce of weight removed from the weight hole and it's been going a little longer now.  Which is what I needed.  Let's hope I can improve on my average from now on.  My goal was to be at 200 for the year, but I've bowled terribly this first part of the league.  Right now i'm at 176 with 1/3rd of league play being done, so a 200 is going be be tough.  I would have to bowl a 209.4 from now on.  Hmmmm....  Oh well.  Not as unatainable as I thought.

 I finally managed to put a decent series together.  Well, decent by my standards considering i've been in a funk.  *L*  I shot 180 first game.  It was a good game because we are currently in 18th place in a well contested league and went up against a team that has gone 58-12 in our points standings.  My first game, I hit a strike on the 9th, and punched out on the 10th to give our team a boost.  We won the first game by 20 or so pins.  The second game, I had a six bagger going then messed up the 9th and 10th frames.  Opened both, but my teammates had my back!  Third game, I strung the first 7 together then left a solid 9 pin.  Darn!  Then my game went down the cr*pshoot after that eventhough I threw the ball the same way.  Must have been where I stood cuz the other team took a while on the 8th frame.  Oh well.  I'm happy with my decent 598 series.

 I shot horrible last week.  I think I shot a 166, 165, and a 139 to top things off.  I think I'm gonna hit my old style of just chunking the ball to the outside and let it come back in.... kinda like in the video I had posted.  So much for slowing it down and aiming. :)

Hello Everyone!

 I seemed to bowl a little more consistent last week with a 188, 197, and a 178 for a 563 series.  Not too bad considering I'm in a funk.  If I can back it up with something around this I guess I'll be happy cuz I really haven't had much luck this year.  I'm switching my style from just going up and chunking the ball, to going up to the line and trying to deliver the ball to a spot.  I think the long run it will work out better with delivery since I'll be able to read the lane sooner and switch equipment.  Anyhow, thanks for listening to me rant a tad!  Wish me luck tonight!!!
